     In many areas of industrial metrology,automation technology, in-procs inspection and control, and in quality management, the proportion or optical, non-contact procs now being used to identify, tt and measure complex structur is increasing. Such advanced measuring and inspection tasks as the application dcribed here can only be performed using high-rolution CCD camera systems and telecentric precision lens. The exacting demands made on the measuring system are met by the virtually distortion-free VISOIONM lene. Telecentric viewing and the measurement of relevant production procs eliminate the need for costly and time-consuming alignment and tting procs for the user, and higher quality is achieved in the entire production procs and therefore also in the products themselv.
