SF1600S.A 和SF1600SN.A产品结合了一个MEMS电容式加速度传感器，它是由一个陶瓷封装的立体微加工工艺制成的硅元件，通过一个内部连接板传输到一个专用混合信号器ASIC，能进行模拟的、闭环的、力平衡操作。多芯片模块（MCM）被安装到印刷电路板上，由采用线性稳压器的功率调节电路、输出放大器和其它辅助电子原件构成。
SF1600采用双极工作电源，电压为± 6V至± 15V，并且在± 6V时的一般电流消耗为11mA。全线性加速度的范围是±3g, 相应的灵敏度为1.2V /g。它可在从-40°C至+85°C的温度范围内工作。可承受高达1500克冲击后而不会降低性能。在整个量程范围的频率响应是从直流电到大于15
