球体与密封圈均采用结构陶瓷，不受热胀冷缩影响。
耐化学腐蚀，，度（洛氏硬度HRC90，次于金刚石），损，适用于各类酸碱盐气体、液体、高温蒸汽等恶劣球境。
启闭，轻便，密封性好（面接触），不易泄漏，结构简单。
与介质接触的部分结构陶瓷材料，其化学稳定性及硬度高（洛氏硬度HRC90），次于金刚石，因此本阀具有高的损、耐腐蚀、耐冲蚀性能，且隔热性能好、热膨胀小。
