The DiCon GP700 product line for fiber optics offers a variety of platforms and switching solutions.
The DiCon GP700 General Purpose Fiberoptic Platform offers complete fiber optic switching solutions. The flexible GP700 enables the integration of multiple fiber optic switches, attenuators, couplers, and other components in a user-friendly programmable instrument. The instrument can control up to 30 1×N switches, tunable filters, or variable attenuators, and up to 64 2×2, 1×2, and On-Off switches. Larger configurations can be accommodated using multiple housings. A wide variety of rack-mountable and benchtop chassis are available. The DiCon GP700s can be built with Corning SMF-28, Flexcor 1060 or Polarization Maintaining Panda fiber.

The DiConGP700M Modular Mainframe builds on the enormous flexibility of the DiCon GP700. The GP700M shares the powerful user interface with the traditional GP700. At the same time, it offers the convenience of field installation of fiberoptic switches, variable attenuators, and tunable filters. The instrument can accommodate up to eight modular Plug-Ins and can be configured with non-modular internal components by request. The GP700M Modular Mainframe is available in standard and extended 4U rackmount chassis.
