The Universal Spring Impact Hammer is specified in IEC 60068-2-75 for impact testing. There are single energy hammers from 0,2 Nm to 1,0 Nm. Friborg offers also an Universal Impact Hammer that you can preset to any impact value between 0,2 Nm to 1,0 Nm. This offers a very universal use when testing.

Impact Hammer: Model 5112

The Spring Operated Impact Hammer simulates mechanical impact to the surface of the enclosures of electrical appliances and components.
It functions so that a compressed spring accelerates a hammer head to hit the sample undergoing testing. The spring is released from a lock mechanism by pressing a conical top of the test hammer against the sample.
Technical data
Each hammer is calibrated to one of the energies: 0.2, 0.5, 0.7, 1.0Nm.
